Werner and Uschi Madeisky are passionate about making
films. They work as authors, directors and producers.
Their company is located in Frankfurt on the Main River.
Their films are shot throughout the world. COLORAMA
Filmproduktion was founded in 1974. Since then nearly
100 films have been produced in various genres. Always
from A to Z, from the original idea until the finished
product is brought to the audience: whether it be entertainment,
a serial, a film anthology, a documentary or report.
The films are many facetted, successful and draw audiences.
Many of their films have won prizes both at home and
abroad: Adolf Grimme, prix jeunesse international, as
well as the 'Gold' in Giffioni Valle Piana, Italy.

Uschi Madeisky and Klaus Werner use their inspired
scripts and expert montage techniques to create every
mood. Their films stir up, uncover and move. They are
full of suspense, they agitate and are sophisticated,
amuse and create magic. The subject matter is drawn
from the areas of art, culture, society and people in

at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm (Technical
Institute for Design), earned a Diplom (MS degree) from
the Institut für Filmgestaltung (Institute for Film
Design) at the Technical Institute for Design 1968.
The films produced during his studies were: "Atemlos",
"Hansel und Gretel", "Beerdigung",
"Fußgänger", "Lepta" and
"Zum Mongolismus" (which was the graduation
project and received a prize for culture at the International
Short Film Festival in Oberhausen and was rated 'worth
seeing' by the FBW Film Rating Commission)
In 1968/69 he produced 2 entertainment films as part of
the collective of film producers, 'Epplwoi Motion Pictures'
in Frankfurt/Main, "Am Ama Am Amazonas" and
"Zwickel auf Bizyckel" (which won the Hessian
Film Prize in 1998). Served on the first board of directors
of the (Filmbüro Hessen) Hessian Film Office.

in Hessen. 1st film 1970 "Am besten wir spielen auf
dem Klo oder wo?". Her theoretical pieces on the
effects of film and television on children were published
in the Frankfurter Rundschau and on the girls page of
EMMA. Co-founded the media group of the Frankfurt women's
movement. Served on the first board of directors of the
(Filmbüro Hessen) Hessian Film Office. Served on
the first board of directors of 'Maecenia' a Frankfurt
foundation for women in science and art.
